ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha is the Official Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy Appreciation Society.

Owning a towel is not obligatory, but they are the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitch hiker can have. If you are interested in the works of Douglas Adams there is a newsletter with news, reviews, artwork, fiction, competitions and more published four times a year. Also a range of Guide related merchandise is available to members by post, which includes towels, T-shirts, mugs and unbelievably cute and cuddly two-headed three-armed Beeblebears. ZZ9 was founded in 1980 and has members across the world. We organise meetings around the UK (and occasionally in other countries).
Annual subscription entitles you to one year's membership and four copies of our magazine.
The membership rates are:

Please make all cheques and postal orders payable to "ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha". Payment must be in UK Pounds Sterling only. We cannot accept foreign currency, foreign bank drafts etc. as they cost too much to convert - the Euro is a foreign currency. Overseas members should ideally obtain a bank draft or money order payable in UK Pounds Sterling through a UK bank, or join online via credit card.

If you have a sibling/spouse/small blue furry creature who is also a Guide fan, why not enrol them at the same time? Family membership is available for two or more people at the same postal address. This entitles you to each receive a membership card, badge and full voting rights, but only one newsletter.

Membership details are kept on computer records. The Society undertakes that membership information will not be made available to outside sources and will only be divulged to other members with your prior consent.
